Producing Your Own Internet Video

In my last article, I wrote about why many entrepreneurs and business owners do not know about Internet streaming video and why many of them have no idea about the video distribution channels available to business owners. The big question is, why the confusion about this important subject? Especially since Internet video is such a powerful media?

The answer was quite revealing to me as I lectured to a group of business owners and entrepreneurs. The crowd I was speaking to were baby boomers. The group caught in between 2 worlds. The world of the past and of the future! I lectured to another group earlier in the year about the importance of the Internet and Streaming video. Basically I received the same response. I am not here to criticize or make fun of the baby boomer generation, I belong to this group. What I am pointing out is this technology can be quite intimidating to many people who have no idea how it works or how it applies to them.

I had one person come up to me after my lecture and she asked me how streaming video and the Internet distribution channels applied to her business! She was a therapist and life coach and a baby boomer. For the generations x and y and whatever other letters apply to a particular generation, buisness owners ages 38 to 50 something are having quite a time learning how important and powerful the Internet and its applications can be.

So getting back to my original intent of this article, many entrepreneurs simply do not know how to create their own video and do not have the slightest idea of where they can get a lot of exposure to promote their business, product and service. If you are one of these people, business owners, entrepreneurs, do not be afraid to ask for help. Here are some actions to take on how to get started in the technological realm.

1. Research on the Internet. Begin with this site, www.ezinearticles.com and look up the many articles about the Internet and its many applications.

2. Narrow your article search down to Internet video.

3. Research articles on video distribution sites and how internet video works and how you can produce your own video.

4. Do not be afraid to ask questions to college students or the younger generation people. They are very savvy in this area.

You can also attend many seminars on the subject. I know time is of the essence and for most business owners/entrepreneurs time is tight. Learning the basics can go along way and help you understand the different ways you can become successful. Then you can make sound decisions about what applications you are going to need that will best serve you and help you generate more business, revenue and clientle that you so deserve!

However, what you need most is your own commercial/video about you or your product and you need to have this video on the distribution sites! I cannot tell you how important this is for you! Just like the Nike commercial, Just do it!!
