Why Initiate Contact?

Attaining an athletic scholarship is hard work. Colleges and Universities only focus their targets on a few high school athletes. Since a scholarship doesnt just come to you naturally, you will have to do some work to win one yourself.

It all begins by initiating contact with the programs that you have the most interest in. You cannot just sit and wait for them to contact you because it very well may not happen. Most athletes that have done that simply never get contacted. Even if you are an outstanding student-athlete you need to initiate contact also, you may not get the exposure you need to gain the offers you want.

If youve ever wondered why some athletes get scholarships and some, with the same abilities, dont even get looked at, one of the reasons is the lack of promotion. In todays athletic departments there is not enough time or money for a coach to travel and see every potential student athlete. You must take the initiative and contact them yourself. Tell them how great you are! Otherwise, they may never know who you are.

The problem is that most parents and students dont know where to start in this process. Like I said before, this is not an easy process and it is definitely hard work so you have to be committed to following through with the work. You need to find a source that will tell you where to start and how to contact the coaches at each of the programs where you have an interest.

Find a source that will walk you through this process step-by-step. You can do-it-yourself if you learn how the recruiting process works.

The other day I got a call from a parent asking when they should start their daughters recruiting game. The answer is as soon as you have varsity team stats that you can use, you can begin promoting your student-athlete to college coaches. Coaches cannot necessarily begin contacting you, but you surely can contact them and get your student-athlete on their radar screen.

Essentially, you will be your own consultant!

There is the only one athletic scholarship product that I know of that will walk you through the entire process in your pursuit of an athletic scholarship. Would you like to save big money over hiring a recruiting service or consultant? There are many scholarship resources available these days, but I dont know of any that will walk you through the entire recruiting game in such a simple and doable way. Its Economical too.

You will learn the details of THE THREE TIPS of winning an athletic scholarship: promotion, persistence and performance.

Don't struggle with the recruiting process on your own. Be lead through:
